Beach Life

Last week we were lucky enough to take a day off, and visit the coast with The Small One and The Littlest One. Regular readers of this blog will know that we are big fans of Scarborough North Bay – whatever the weather it’s a fun beach for the little ones to play on; a wide expanse of sand, the right sand for sandcastles, moat building etc., and lots of facilities close by for mad-dashes to the loo. Oh, and there’s parking right next to it – a bonus when you have to travel with everything from your home at all times, just in case.

It was a glorious day. We got to the beach just after 9am, and The Small One immediately set about building a moat. The Littlest One spent the morning eating sand. Both of them were very happy. The sun shone, making the North Sea look positively tropical. I know, unbelievable. But look at the pictures.
